Our gym is the meeting place for combat sports enthusiasts in the region. More than just a boxing and martial arts club in Sainte-Thérèse, Sparmax Academy is also a school that helps beginners, enthusiasts, and fighters of all ages push their limits. The atmosphere reflects our team: passionate individuals who practice combat sports for enjoyment, to challenge themselves, and stay at the top of their game. Our teams

Our team consists of professional boxers and martial arts enthusiasts dedicated to their students. Committed to each individual's success, they help students achieve and surpass their goals. Among our instructors are several decorated fighters, each possessing the necessary qualifications to teach. Before joining us, each instructor underwent a rigorous selection and background check process.

Normard Grimard

Chief Instructor and Sparmax Academy owner, Normand Grimard has been practicing martial arts for over 30 years. Today, he prepares pugilists for various competitions in Canada and the United States. He holds teaching certificates from some of the most accomplished instructors in the world. His dedication, integrity and rigor have made Sparmax one of Canada's most respected combat academies.

Kevin Alexandre Grimard

Having made his debut at Sparmax at the age of 5, Kevin-Alexandre Grimard currently holds the title of Canadian Elite boxing title (56 kg). With more than 50 fights to his name and an impressive track record, this instructor specializes in teaching boxing and Muay Thai. Kevin-Alexandre is a devoted and persevering as well as inspiring young instructor for all ages.
